Since 2010, OCP has been supporting small farmers in 9 Indian states in implementing integrated farming projects. The year 2021 saw the conclusion of this integrated agricultural development project in rural India. On the one hand, OCP was able to deal with 6 cooperatives, so that 9,600 cooperatives benefited from marketing support. Then, in the face of the emergence of Covid-19 in 2020, the Foundation wanted to expand its commitment to protecting the most vulnerable in rural India and helping to strengthen their resilience.

  • 7,508 people benefited from awareness meetings on preventive measures
  • 120 people were trained in sanitation work in about thirty villages and rewards were given to the teams to motivate them
  • 9,000 sets of personal protective equipment and sodium hypochlorite solution for disinfection were distributed.
